What is it?
The Trust exists to support financially the education or personal development of children who attend or have attended Guilden Sutton Church of England Primary School. Grants can be made to the school as well as to individual pupils or former pupils who apply to the Trust.
Previous grants made to individuals have been in the range from £50 to £500. The trust has helped fund: the purchase of musical instruments, textbooks, sports gear or other equipment; gap year projects; higher/further education expenses; voluntary work; overseas study, etc.
The trust was set up in 1997 by the Diocese of Chester using the proceeds of the sale of the Old School House, situated at the west end of the village.
How to apply
Applications should be submitted by 30th April for consideration in May or by 31st October for consideration in November each year. Applicants must be under 25 on 1st May or November as appropriate. Application forms can be downloaded from the Guilden Sutton website.

All information supplied in applications is treated in confidence. Repeat applications will be considered but priority is given to first time applicants. Unfortunately retrospective applications cannot be considered.
